As per the latest update, NTA will soon commence the NEET UG 2023 registration at neet.nta.nic.in. NTA NEET 2023 exam will be conducted in pen and paper mode on May 7.

Eligibility Criteria:-

  1. You need to have Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology as their compulsory subjects in Class 10th and 12th and must have passed these subjects.
  2. The Minimum Qualifying Percentage of Marks in Class 10th and 12th in these subjects varies from category to category. 50% for General Category, 45% for General-PH, 40% for SC/ST, and Reserved Category (Handicapped).
  3. Candidates who are qualifying in nature are also eligible to apply for NEET. For these candidates, they have to show their passing certificate at the time of the counseling round.
  4. Maths Marks are not considered in NEET Exam.
  5. Candidates must be Citizen of India, NRI, OCI.

NEET Apply Online 2023

The NEET UG exam application form will only become available online, and it will only be accessible via the official NEET website. Students must be attentive and accurate while filling out all necessary facts, including personal, academic, domicile, contact, etc. Students must provide scanned photos of their photograph, signature, and index finger imprint in a specified way once they have completed the details section of the application.

NEET Registration Last Date 2023

Applying for the NEET should be done before the deadline for submitting the form to prevent technological complications. The NEET 2023 application form will be accessible from the first week of April 2023 until the last week of May 2023.

NEET Eligibility 2023

Before applying for the NEET 2023 exam, students interested in taking it should examine the eligibility requirements. Below are the eligibility conditions for the NEET 2023 exam:

Nationality

  • Citizens of India are qualified to apply. Students with OCI or NRI status can also be eligible to apply.
  • Self-declaration is the only need for students from the states of J&K, AP, and Telangana to be eligible to apply for one of the 15% quota seats available throughout India.

Prerequisite for Possession of an Aadhaar Card:

  • To apply for the NEET exam, all students who are citizens of India are required to have an Aadhaar number.

Age criteria

  • To be eligible to take the NEET UG exam, students must be at least 17 years old on or before the 31st of December in the year of admission.
  • The highest age restriction allowed is 25 years old. For students who belong to a reserved group, the maximum age restriction will have a five-year cushion added to it.

Required Eligibility Prerequisites

  • Students must complete their secondary education with at least three required courses, including English, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology or Biotechnology.
  • They must pass the qualifying examination with a minimum score of fifty percent, forty-five percent for general-PH students, and forty percent for SC/ST and OBC students.
  • Students currently registered for the qualifying exam are also eligible to apply.

NEET 2023 Syllabus

The NEET 2023 syllabus comprises three subjects, namely Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The syllabus is the same as that of CBSE Class 11 and Class 12. However, a few topics of the syllabus are not taught in these classes. Candidates are advised to go through the syllabus before they start preparing for the entrance test. It is expected that the NEET syllabus 2022 will remain the same as that of last year.
